Gas Grills Service, Repair, and Installation

BUILT IN GRILL MAINTENANCE

Maintenance and service (detailed grill clean) for built-in grills is usually between $200-$350, depending on size, where it is located, and type of grill (example: on the 4th story of apartment building; or Firemagic, DCS, and Viking grills, which are more intricate to work on).

BUILT IN GRILL INSTALLATION

Installation of built-in grills is between $175-$500. This price is dependent on if the new grill fits into the pre-existing island. If needed, we will cut stone and surrounding area to fit the grill, if possible. If the grill is smaller than the area, we are able to use filling material to blend in the gaps from the smaller grill.

CART GRILL MAINTENANCE

Maintenance and service (detailed grill clean) for these grills is usually between $175-$350, depending on size, where it is located, and type of grill (example: on the 4th story of apartment building; or Firemagic, DCS, and Viking grills are much more intricate to work on).

CART GRILL INSTALLATION

Installation and assembly for cart grills usually starts at $175 and goes up to $250, depending on size. However, if it is an enormous grill/island, it will be priced higher due to the size.

POST GRILL MAINTENANCE

Maintenance and service for smaller post grills is usually between $145-$200, depending on size, where it is located, and type of grill (example: on the 4th story of apartment building versus on the 1st floor; Firemagic, DCS, and Viking grills are much more intricate to work on).

POST GRILL INSTALLATION

Installation for smaller post grills is between $175 and $225 and will include assembly, new fittings on existing gas line, and free hook up with valve, gas line and fittings (if gas source is within 10 feet of grill location).

Maintenance and service built-in model grills (detailed grill clean)-

The Flame Steward will restore your built-in grill to great condition.

Our steps to provide a great grill clean will include:

  • Assessment of gas line and leak check of grill to shut of valve
  • Cleaning interior and exterior of grill, breaking off as much carbon build up as possible
  • Removing all components inside grill and using a high-speed wire wheel to remove rust and grease from cooking grids, separators, flavor grids, and burner
  • Using oven cleaner to clean and break down the hard to reach and tough grease build up inside oven
  • Cleaning cooking grids with soap and water and rinse
  • Painting rusting parts that are in the control section (not near food surface)
  • Lubricating valves
  • Blowing out burner components with high pressure air
  • Testing the burner and ignition (if ignition system is needed, we can order parts if available for your grill. Changing these parts is not included with clean.)
  • Polishing or painting entire outside of grill, where applicable

Note!

If gas is not flowing to the grill, you may have a broken or split gas line, there may be a clog somewhere, or in some cases, your grill may be disconnected. If you would like the service to check the gas line, a full diagnostic of the gas line to the appliance shut-off valve can be evaluated to ensure there is no leak on your gas line. This test can be performed before or after we get started cleaning to tackle any gas flow issues you are having and come up with the best solutions to your problem

CART AND MOBILE GRILLS

The Flame Steward is the pro you need to tackle assembly, installation, gas line hook ups, repair, part replacement, reconditioning of the entire grill or just the components you care about most. The size of these grills ranges anywhere from 24” to 50”.

POST-MOUNTED GRILLS

These gas grills were very popular in the 1960’s and 70’s, mostly due to the MHP (Modern Home Products) company.  The local gas company would install these and set up a payment through your metered gas bill. MHP and other post-mount manufacturers really designed these grills to last the test of time, with an aluminum shell to retain heat and inexpensive replacement parts that are easy to find. These grills are great for families and small groups. Some of these grills are able to be transformed into cart or built-in type grills with a conversion kit by removing the oven “head” and installing it onto a cart or structure. However, it is dependent on the grill manufacturer whether this is possible.
