We Are All About Grills

We service ALL grills, no matter the make or model or type.*

Maintenance and service (detailed grill clean) cost for grills depends on the size of the grill, where it is located, and type of grill (for example: on the 4th story of an apartment building, or DCS or Firemagic, built-in, cart or post). Click HERE to fill out our form to get service for your grill. We constantly check for gas leaks.

Grill repair will differ in price depending on a lot of different factors.  If you only need a grill repaired and not cleaned click HERE and we will provide you with a detailed quote. We always check for gas leaks.

Installation of built-in grills depends on whether the new grill fits into the pre-existing island. If needed, we will cut the stone and the surrounding area to fit the grill. If the grill is smaller than the area, we can use filling material to blend in the gaps from the smaller grill. Click HERE to fill out our form to get a detailed quote for your built-in grill. We constantly check for gas leaks.

We would be happy to assemble your grill out of the box.  We know that many Weber grills and others that come in a box are time-consuming and need two people to assemble.  Allow us to correctly assemble your grill and hook it up to the gas supply line or a propane tank, and we will always check for gas leaks on all fittings on the grill and gas line to the valve. Please click HERE to give us a little info about your project.

Installation for smaller post grills will include assembly, new fittings on the existing gas line, and hook up with valve, gas line, and fittings. Click HERE for a detailed quote for your post-mount grill. We constantly check for gas leaks.

Have you recently purchased a paradise grill island but are unsure where to go to hook up the connections? Here at The Flame Steward, we hook up the water, gas, and sewer lines for you all simultaneously. However, this is only if your connections are close to your island. If you have stubs sticking out of the patio wall, we would be happy to hook them up. The prices for these ranges significantly based on what connections, the amount, and how far away they are, typically from $150-1000. For a detailed quote, please click HERE.

Our Maintenance and Service for Grills

Built In model Grills

The Flame Steward will restore your built-in grill to excellent condition.

Our steps to provide a great grill clean will include the following:

  • Assessment of the gas line and leak check of the grill to shut off the valve
  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of the grill, breaking off as much carbon buildup as possible
  • Removing all components inside the grill and using a high-speed wire wheel to remove rust and grease from cooking grids, separators, flavor grids, and burner
  • Using oven cleaner to clean and break down the hard-to-reach and tough grease buildup inside the oven
  • Cleaning cooking grids with soap and water and rinse
  • Painting rusting parts that are in the control section (not near the food surface)
  • Lubricating valves
  • Cleaning out the burner and cleaning and lubricating valves
  • Testing the burner and ignition (if an ignition system is needed, we can order parts if available for your grill. Changing these parts is not included with cleaning.)
  • Polishing or painting the entire outside of the grill, where applicable

Cart and Mobile Grills

These are the most popular type of grill because they are easy to move and postion wherever desired.  They typically have drawers and side shelves so they are like a portable outdoor kitchen. These convenient and accessible grills can also be installed into a custom-built island.  Cart and mobile-model grills are built in all sorts of shapes and sizes to fit your unique cooking style and area, typically ranging from 24″ up to 60 inches or more in some cases.  The Flame Steward is here to help with assembly, installation, gas line hook ups, repair, part replacement, and total overhaul or cleaning just the components you care about most.

Post-Mounted grills

These gas grills were very popular in the 1960’s and 70’s, mostly due to the MHP (Modern Home Products) company. The local gas company would install these and set up a payment through your metered gas bill. MHP and other post-mount manufacturers really designed these grills to last the test of time, with an aluminum shell to retain heat and inexpensive replacement parts that are easy to find. These grills are great for families and small groups. Some of these grills are able to be transformed into cart or built-in type grills with a conversion kit by removing the oven “head” and installing it onto a cart or structure. However, it is dependent on the grill manufacturer whether this is possible.

The Flame Steward will restore your built-in grill to excellent condition.

Our steps to provide a great grill clean will include the following:

  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of the grill, breaking off as much carbon buildup as possible
  • Removing all components inside the grill and using a high-speed wire wheel to remove rust and grease from cooking grids, rocks, rock grates, and burner
  • Cleaning cooking grids with soap, water, and rinse
  • Painting the entire outside of the grill with high-heat paint (black only)
  • Lubricating valves
  • Blowing burner components with high-pressure air
  • Testing the burner and ignition (If an ignition system is needed, we can replace it on-site.)
  • Testing all areas for gas leaks with the gas tracker, soap, or pressure, depending on the situation.
